Mrs Wordsmith is the world’s most innovative vocabulary programme. With engaging content from the Hollywood artists behind Madagascar, they combine data science and creativity to help young people to learn the 10,000 words that matter most for academic success. Untitled were commissioned to create a strong, but playful brand identity that would appeal to children and parents alike. The logotype is derived from a cartoon speech bubble that adapts and changes to suit the various needs of the identity. We had enormous fun working with illustrator Craig Kellman, who created an entire world of funny and interesting characters to make the learning experience as effortless as possible. Pulling all these ingredients together, we built a comprehensive visual language that was applied to printed mailing packs and workbooks, flash cards and posters, and numerous digital platforms.
