St Leonards make beautiful, understood leather accessories for men and women. Their brand is deep-rooted in its surrounding, St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex and many of their products are named after streets or events that occur in its vicinity. The logotype, with a gentle nod towards stitching, is intentionally simple because its primary application is to be debossed into leather. This is visually supported on labels and marketing materials by illustrations of heraldic symbols which have strong metaphoric links to St Leonards. Our client, K Avery has since built on the early work we did and has developed the branding quite admirably.
